Take your work to the next level! This course is an individual study format for students with experience in abstract art who are looking for support in developing concepts and technique. Students will receive guidance and interaction while working in a creative environment with support from the instructor and other student artists. Students advance their skills by working independently and receive instruction on techniques as they progress. Students should bring a work in progress and/or desired materials to the first class.

Discover the freedom of making abstract art! I'm excited to present my abstract painting workshop in a new 6 week format that focuses on using abstract techniques to find more freedom in your art practice. We'll examine different approaches to abstract expressionism and how it can help you take risks, move past creative blocks and explore new territory. Experiment with different materials, including acrylic painting and mixed media techniques to find new ways of seeing and making art.
